Changelog

What changed in the FeedFusion API and widget, newest first. Only changes you'd notice in an integration are listed.

29 October 2026 · Dashboard widget settings

The feed response now includes meta.widgetSettings: the layout you save in your dashboard. The widget applies it and it takes priority over the attributes in your embed code, so you can change how the feed looks without editing your site.

29 October 2026 · Smaller images

Each post gains optimizedMediaSmallUrl, a 640 px copy of the image. The widget picks it on narrow layouts through srcset, and drops to fewer columns when it's narrower than 480 px.

19 October 2026 · Feed loads

Every successful response counts as one feed load. Going over your plan's monthly limit never blocks the feed: meta.overLimit turns true and the badge shows until the month resets.

18 October 2026 · Allowed sites

Feeds with allowed sites only answer browser requests from those sites (localhost always works). Other sites get a 403 with domain_not_allowed, and the widget explains why in the browser console instead of showing an error box. Server-side calls don't send an Origin and aren't affected.

25 May 2026 · Badge flag

meta.showBadge tells you whether to show the "Powered by FeedFusion" badge, so a custom integration can follow the same rule as the widget.

24 May 2026 · Hosted images

Posts gain optimizedMediaUrl, a copy of the image hosted by FeedFusion. Use it first: Instagram's CDN links expire, and this one keeps working.

21 May 2026 · Pagination and metadata

The response gains a meta block (tier, total, limit, offset and cacheTtl), ?limit= (1 to 100, default 24) and ?offset= for paging through the stored posts, and thumbnailUrl for videos.
